Born in Adana in 1970, Murat Özen completed his primary and secondary education there. He went on to study Geophysical Engineering at the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Engineering, and further strengthened his academic background with a degree in Marketing from Anadolu University's Faculty of Business Administration, Open Education.
Fluent in English, Murat Özen spent over 25 years in senior management roles across different sectors, including Production and Manufacturing Manager. Throughout this long career, he gained significant experience in strategic thinking, planning, problem-solving, team management and interpersonal relations.
The leadership and people-management experience he gained managing different teams over the years now forms one of the key building blocks of his coaching approach. For Murat Özen, development isn't just about gaining technical knowledge and skill — making the right decisions, building awareness, acting with a plan, and helping each individual reach their own potential are equally essential parts of development.

His passion for motorcycles began in Adana, watching the older riders around him with admiration. That early love for two wheels, after he bought his first motorcycle, grew into more than 30 years of active riding experience. He came to see riding not merely as a technical skill, but through the lens of awareness, risk management, sound decision-making and continuous development.

Murat Özen's coaching approach isn't built on making a rider memorise a technique — it's built on guiding the rider to turn that technique into their own reflex.
The planning discipline and problem-solving approach he gained throughout his management career combine with his mastery on the motorcycle: every movement has a reason, every correction has a purpose. Rather than telling a rider "do it this way," he builds lasting technical confidence by helping them understand why that movement is correct.
